This project serves as a primary prevention and educational resource targeting young people between 14 and 20 in Logan, Queensland. The aim of the booklet is to provide an age-appropriate resource for young people in Logan that provides educational information in an engaging way about healthy relationships and mental health.

My role in the project included:

The project has now received further funding to develop a YouTube talk series and a school-based project.

The school-based project includes:

  • A presentation for school staff

  • Three short presentations for students

  • Resource pack including booklet, postcards, air freshener, and phone stickers

  • Posters for display around the school

  • Digital posters for display in homerooms

  • Social media kit for sharing on school social media

  • Outcome measurement framework based on the program’s theory of change.

Project outcomes:

  • The first pilot will commence in January 2022

  • Over 1000 copies sold, generating over $5k

  • Two successful grant applications totaling $25

  • Over 5000 young people across Logan and beyond have received the resource
