Latest Work: Social Media for Animal Welfare

Below is a selection of social media content I have developed as part of my role as Social Media Specialist at RSPCA Australia. Since joining the organisation, I have used data and audience insights to tailor existing messaging into engaging content that connects with our supporters and elevates our animal welfare priorities.

Social media plays a vital role in shaping public awareness and driving positive change for animals. My work contributes to RSPCA Australia’s mission to improve the lives of all animals by creating informative, empathetic, and impactful content that resonates with our diverse audiences. I focus on translating complex animal welfare topics into accessible, shareable messages. This work helps build a more compassionate and informed community, ultimately strengthening the voice for animals nationwide.

Domestic and family violence primary prevention resources

The projects below are a sample of some of the primary prevention and community education initiatives I led and contributed to at The Centre for Women & Co. I led the marketing, communications and engagement space from 2019 to 2022, contributing to the development of CFW’s reputation for professional, evidence-based and person-centred services.

The organisation provides support to families affected by domestic and family violence and works closely with other community support services including GPs, Queensland Health, Queensland Police Service and local government. In line with current contemporary models, services provided include crisis response, counselling and education. Education is a key element of their theory of change.

Pilot safety resources

Below is a selection of pilot-education resources I developed as part of my leadership of the external air traffic management safety promotion program at Airservices Australia. Since March 2022, I have revitalised and expanded the program, taking it from its foundational stages to a phase of sustained growth.

Safety promotion in the aviation industry is integral to equipping professionals with the knowledge and tools to identify and mitigate risks. These efforts align with Airservices Australia’s mission to ensure the safety of air travel by delivering critical services such as Air Traffic Control and Aviation Rescue Fire Fighting. My work focused on synthesising complex safety concepts into accessible, engaging resources that empower pilots to understand emerging risks and adopt best practices, ultimately fostering a culture of safety.
